During this time, she pioneered a community dietetic service and played a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and supporting health-promotion programs across various clinical and community settings. Anne remains dedicated to nutrition health promotion, maintaining partnerships with both HSE and community development groups. Her research interests encompass nutrition care pathways for older adults, factors influencing participant attendance at Type 2 Diabetes education programs, nutrition competency development among healthcare professionals, faculty development for interprofessional education, and the Mediterranean Diet's impact on Rheumatoid Arthritis (MEDRA). Anne recently earned her MA in Teaching, Learning, and Scholarship in Higher Education and was honored with the 2021 Education & Health Science faculty individual teaching excellence award. ResumeChristopher Papandreou is a senior researcher at the IISPV. He is working on several projects as PI, Co-PI
and investigator, aiming to understand the importance of the interplay between diet, metabolites and
microbial metabolism on cardiometabolic health, cognitive function and cancer. He is co-leader of the
Nutrition and Metabolic Health Research Group that aims to integrate nutritional and metabolic
knowledge for a better understanding of high prevalent and increasing incidence non-communicable
diseases such as obesity, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, dementia and cancer. The
multidisciplinary group encompasses researchers with expertise in nutrition, lifestyle, and multi-omic
(metabolomics-microbiota-transcriptomics) research, strong experience in epidemiological, clinical and
pharmacological studies, allowing the progress in the knowledge of these diseases with a holistic and an
integrative vision, to better identify biomarkers and target molecules useful for the design of preventive
and therapeutic strategies in the field of personalized medicine.

Köse worked, for many years, in a private psychiatric hospital on obesity and eating
disorders. She expanded her experience by personally visiting eating disorder clinics in the
United States. She made the cultural definition of 'Mindful Eating' and published in a
scientific journal for the first time in Turkey. Dr. Gizem Köse received Mindfulness Based
Eating Awareness Training (MB-EAT) training in Boston. She continues her studies/trainings
on Eating Disorders and Mindful Eating and continues her academic career as an Assistant
Professor & Program Director of Nutrition and Dietetics (English) at Acibadem MAA
University. In addition to many published researches, she has many books and book

ResumeI am leading a diverse, interdisciplinary team who likes to tackle important questions in systems medicine by developing and using novel machine learning algorithms. Our ultimate goal is to identify risk factors and mechanisms affecting aging and contributing to the onset and progression of chronic diseases and cancer. We also develop predictive methods and tools that can directly improve health. We use probabilistic graphical models and other machine learning methods to integrate and mine high-dimensional, multi-modal biomedical data and to investigate biological processes pertinent to health and disease.

Associate Dean of Global Affairs at the Rutgers School of Health Professions. She is a
registered dietitian, internationally recognized for her expertise and leadership in nutrition
and oral health, nutrition-focused physical exam, and dietetics education. Her research has
explored diet/nutrition and tooth loss in older adults, nutrition and orofacial pain, head and
neck cancer, nutrition-focused physical exam practices of dietitians, and hybrid approaches
to training health professionals globally. Dr. Touger-Decker is an internationally recognized
speaker and has authored books and more than 100 peer-reviewed publications. Awards
include the American Dietetic Association Medallion and Excellence in Dietetic Education
Awards and the American Society for Clinical Nutrition Dannon Institute Award for
Excellence in Medical/Dental Nutrition Education. She is a Fellow of the New York Academy
